The Charlotte Breakfast Club is a local Charlotte, N.C. area business networking club dedicated to client referrals for its members. The club meets every Tuesday morning at 7:00 a.m. at Fairview Plaza Restaurant located at the corner of Fairview Road and Park South Drive - address is 5950 Fairview Road Ste 14.

A detailed agenda is presented here however a brief description is provided below.

Each meeting, the members get one minute to talk about their business - whether it is a basic description of their business or some new product or service they would like to introduce. During these presentations, a file box of business cards are passed around so that members can add a supply of their own cards and take cards of other businesses for referrals.

After the one minute presentations, a pre-selected member or guest will make a 10 minute presentation about their business. This 10 minute presentation provides an opportunity for members to communicate their services and products in greater detail.

Referrals are then passed around with one copy of each referral going to the club secretary. The referrals are done one at a time so that all the members can hear a description of the referral.

The club limits membership to one business of a specific type. In other words, the club has one accountant, one realtor and so forth. However, many times, distinctions are made when the targeted market is different. As an example, one type of lender may specialize in only home mortgages while another specializes in small businesses. Both organizations would be eligible for membership under existing club membership rules.
